Qualcomm says its Quick Charge 5 fills 50% of your phone’s battery in 5 minutes

Qualcomm today announced its new fast-charging technology called the Qualcomm Quick Charging 5 (QC 5). This company claimed that this new standard will charge your 4,500mAh phone from 0 to 50% in five minutes, and to 100% in under 15 minutes. The chipmaker said that QC 5 will be available on devices with Snapdragon 865, Snapdragon 865+, and future high-end chipsets. The standard will support chargers with a power rating of more than 100W.
