Musk boasts his Semi will have a 621 mile range and a 40 ton payload capacity


In typical fashion, Tesla figurehead Elon Musk has boasted about the range of the EV company’s planned semi-articulated electric truck. According to a report by Electrek, Musk said that the goal is to eventually equip the truck with enough power to travel 621 miles (1,000 km) on a charge. The range will reportedly be achieved thanks to new in-house battery cells and pack technology. Macron convinces UK nuclear startup to build its first factory in France

London-based nuclear energy startup Newcleo has scrapped plans to build its first power plant in Britain, opting to invest in France instead.  The move follows extensive lobbying by France’s president Emmanuel Macron, who has personally met with Newcleo’s chief executive and founder Stefano Buono several times, to convince him to build the company’s first modular nuclear reactor in France, the Telegraph reports.  Founded in 2021, Newcleo develops small nuclear reactors powered by radioactive waste.
