Nintendo finally joined its niche Labo side project with its main library today by adding support for it in a major Switch game. The details: The new upgrade lets you use the Labo Motorbike controller with Mario Kart 8 Deluxe on the Switch. Specifically, you can now ride the Toy-Con, the RC car from the Labo Variety Pack, in the game. You use the Labo the same way you’d use an arcade controller — twist the throttle, lean the handle to turn. Lightning Network, a technology often touted as the solution to Bitcoin’s scalability problem, has been growing leaps and bounds in popularity in the recent months in spite of being at a nascent stage. The technology has been tested successfully for processing micro-transactions swiftly. But it seems Lightning Network still struggles with transferring bigger amounts. It seems that the American venture capital (VC) firm Andreessen Horowitz —known for its successful Silicon Valley investments — is ready to foray deeper into the cryptocurrency space. The firm announced a $300 million cryptocurrency fund in a blog post on Monday. The fund named “a16zcrypto” will be co-led by general partners Chris Dixon and Katie Haun. Andreessen Horowitz is interested in holding long-term investments in cryptocurrencies, Dixon suggests.
