Facebook announces Oculus Quest all-in-one VR headset


Facebook today announced the Oculus Quest, an all-in-one virtual reality headset. It features a “Rift-quality experience” without the need to connect to a PC. The Quest headset is a wireless VR experience. It’ll ship with Oculus Touch controllers and feature full hand tracking. It’ll also have full head tracking with six degrees of freedom. Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg today announced the product, saying it would launch next year with a price tag of $399.99. It’ll have 50 launch titles including Moss, Robo-Recall, and other Rift titles. Cyberflashing and epilepsy-trolling offenders to face prison in UK

As of today, the UK is criminalising actions such as cyberflashing and — in a world fist — epilepsy-trolling, with offenders potentially facing prison time. The new offences will come into play as part of the Online Safety Act, a recently introduced bill designed to protect people from illegal or “harmful” online content.
