Watch: Shutterstock recreates the Stranger Things trailer using only stock footage


There’s a lot of generic stock video out there, and most of it is being used in bland corporate videos that you forget about minutes after watching. Turning that trend on its head is Shutterstock, which has created an alternative trailer to the Netflix hit series Stranger Things, using only stock footage sourced from its archives. The trailer was shared earlier today by John Glenday at The Drum. And I have to say, with this clip, Shutterstock has managed to artfully capture the overall eeriness of the series. Macron convinces UK nuclear startup to build its first factory in France

London-based nuclear energy startup Newcleo has scrapped plans to build its first power plant in Britain, opting to invest in France instead.  The move follows extensive lobbying by France’s president Emmanuel Macron, who has personally met with Newcleo’s chief executive and founder Stefano Buono several times, to convince him to build the company’s first modular nuclear reactor in France, the Telegraph reports.  Founded in 2021, Newcleo develops small nuclear reactors powered by radioactive waste.
