Vivo slaps a 44-megapixel front camera with OIS on its V21 phone


Vivo is a phone company that isn’t shy to try out new camera tech in its handsets. Last year, it debuted the X50 series with gimbal stabilization, and this year it included a 50-megapixel sensor of 1/1.31-inch size in the X60 Pro+. For its latest trick,  the company has introduced a 44-megapixel camera in the front with optical image stabilization (OIS). This selfie camera in the V21 phone is able is to capture 4K videos with support for AI-based low-light enhancement. The V21 improves on last year’s V20 camera with these added goodies. Macron convinces UK nuclear startup to build its first factory in France

London-based nuclear energy startup Newcleo has scrapped plans to build its first power plant in Britain, opting to invest in France instead.  The move follows extensive lobbying by France’s president Emmanuel Macron, who has personally met with Newcleo’s chief executive and founder Stefano Buono several times, to convince him to build the company’s first modular nuclear reactor in France, the Telegraph reports.  Founded in 2021, Newcleo develops small nuclear reactors powered by radioactive waste.
