It shouldn’t take a tragedy for tech companies to fight hate on their platforms


Roughly two weeks after the terrorist attack on a mosque in Christchurch, New Zealand, Facebook has committed to clamping down on white nationalism and white separatism on its platform, as well as on Instagram.
