Canon unveils its 32-megapixel 90D DSLR and mirrorless M6 Mark II cameras


Canon just announced two new cameras with 32.5-megapixel crop sensors: the 90D and the M6 Mark II. Both snappers share the same features with differences in design. While the 90D carries on with Canon’s familiar D-series body design, the M6 Mark II has a mirrorless body with a 3-inch touch screen and no opticalviewfinder. The 32.5-megapixel sensor used in both cameras is an APS-C CMOS sensor with a crop factor of 1.6x. Enter ClimateGPT — the ‘first-ever’ AI model dedicated to fighting climate change

Fledgling AI startup EQTY Lab has unveiled the “first-ever” AI chatbot designed to provide accurate and authenticated climate data. AI tools such as ChatGPT and Google’s Bard have faced concerns over the accuracy of the information they provide, as they are trained on data scraped from the internet, but do not necessarily provide rigorous fact-checking. But EQTY Lab claims its open-source ClimateGPT service would provide “trust and transparency” as it draws on scientific data using a robust model that authenticates, secures, and governs the information provided. Macron convinces UK nuclear startup to build its first factory in France

London-based nuclear energy startup Newcleo has scrapped plans to build its first power plant in Britain, opting to invest in France instead.  The move follows extensive lobbying by France’s president Emmanuel Macron, who has personally met with Newcleo’s chief executive and founder Stefano Buono several times, to convince him to build the company’s first modular nuclear reactor in France, the Telegraph reports.  Founded in 2021, Newcleo develops small nuclear reactors powered by radioactive waste.
