Binance says it buddied with UK police to catch crypto criminal who stole $51M


Binance has said it collaborated with UK police to uncover a criminal who earned more than $51 million (£41.6 million) by selling phishing scripts on the dark web. The exchange shared the news in a blog post, stating that it had worked with the Cyber Crime Unit of the UK‘s Metropolitan Police Service earlier this year. The phishing scheme was orchestrated by a Bulgarian suspect, which targeted customers in at least 53 different services. Macron convinces UK nuclear startup to build its first factory in France

London-based nuclear energy startup Newcleo has scrapped plans to build its first power plant in Britain, opting to invest in France instead.  The move follows extensive lobbying by France’s president Emmanuel Macron, who has personally met with Newcleo’s chief executive and founder Stefano Buono several times, to convince him to build the company’s first modular nuclear reactor in France, the Telegraph reports.  Founded in 2021, Newcleo develops small nuclear reactors powered by radioactive waste.
