Safari will soon log you into websites with Face ID and Touch ID


Earlier this year, Apple joined thethe Fast Identity Online (FIDO) alliance to support passwordless authentication. Now, we’re seeing the first big announcement related to this development: the upcoming Safari 14 will support passwordless authentication. Apple made this announcement at a recent session during its developer conference WWDC. What does it mean for you? You can sign into websites on Safari using your iPhone‘s Face ID or Touch ID. Additionally, you can use hardware security keys that support FIDO standards for authentication as well. Why is Venus so inhospitable? ESA launches new mission to find out

The European Space Agency (ESA) has embarked on a new mission to explore our closest planetary neighbour Venus in unprecedented detail.  Known as EnVision, the spacecraft will study Venus from the planet’s inner core to its outer atmosphere, to help astronomers understand why the scorching, toxic world is so different from Earth.  Work will begin on the spacecraft and its instruments later this year, following the selection of an industrial contractor.
