TikTok vanishes from Apple’s App Store and Google’s Play Store in India following its ban


Last night, India banned 59 Chinese apps including TikTok, Helo, and WeChat alleging that these apps steal data and send it to servers that are not located in India. Now, TikTok’s Android and iOS apps have disappeared from both Google’s Play Store and Apple’s App Store. However, several other apps including UC Browser, WeChat, Bigo Live, and Shein were still available to download on both stores. Macron convinces UK nuclear startup to build its first factory in France

London-based nuclear energy startup Newcleo has scrapped plans to build its first power plant in Britain, opting to invest in France instead.  The move follows extensive lobbying by France’s president Emmanuel Macron, who has personally met with Newcleo’s chief executive and founder Stefano Buono several times, to convince him to build the company’s first modular nuclear reactor in France, the Telegraph reports.  Founded in 2021, Newcleo develops small nuclear reactors powered by radioactive waste.
